I'm crawling with Bugs!

All vehicles listed below are located in Washington State

  • 1978 VW Transporter      $1395

This is my pride and joy right now and I am not interested in selling it but because I hear that everything has its price it is listed here.  It has the 2.0 litre engine and an auto-stick.  Leaks a little oil but that will be fixed this summer.   I saw a 'poptop' in a guys yard and inquired if he wanted to sell it.  I bought it for^10 and I am thinking of converting this van to a campervan with this old fiberglass poptop    Westfalia van conversions are common and this particular 'top' is the 'Riviera' model.

Original Westfalia "Riviera" top cost me $10

  • 1973 VW van/camper      $600

This is a Camper Van with a 1600 engine and two weber carbs.  I am unable to get them to work but feel that the right person can.  The engine turns over nicely but because I haven't got the carbs adjusted it won't run.  It has a manual transmission and off white interior.  The nose (front) piece has entirely too much bondo on it but will probably come around with a good sanding.  All the glass is intact.  It is extremely dirty but by spring I may have resolved that issue too.  I have clear title,  You haul.

  • 1971 VW beetle            $450

This is the only VW that I have that appears to be all original.  I have receipts on this VW that go back to 1971!  The engine has been rebuilt two times and has a manual transmission.  While the car will start it won't stop!  Apparently someone was trying to 'fix' it up and they started by removing the brake's master cylinder and related brake lines ??  this car is extremely rusty and will need a new pan some time soon.  The perfect car for anyone that knows how to do w 'pan' off restoration.  Even without brakes I used to drive it the way I would drive my old 58 Bus, I used the 'hand' brake to bring it to a stop.  Not very safe but it did work.  It does move around nicely.  Engine is very peppy.  Glass is intact but the upholstery needs to be replaced.   The doors need to be tied closed to keep from flying open.  Has factory radio.  Tows easily.   You buy it and it's yours.  Call 360-793-7581

  • 1970 VW Camper         $$$  Make Offer

This is a 'kit' car.  No not really.  This is my only non-running VW.  The engine is in the back area and the transmission is in the front seat area.  The tye-died t-shirt wearing, acid eating, pot- smoking hippie that owned this took most of the car apart and managed to disable and lose the important ones.  This is strictly being sold for parts.  The camping bed and cabinets are original and I am removing them now.  I am unsure if I will use the camping equipment.  Everything that you see is for sale or you could make an offer on it in its present condition. Front seats are from a 1971 beetle.  glass is intact.  It could be free to the right person.  The body has serious rust on the lower quarter panels.  Wheels are intact and can be towed easily enough.  I have title, you buy it, you haul it.

  • 1963 Beetle  ragtop     $3,700

This a 1963 beetle with a canvas ragtop.  Interior is oatmeal colored and the whole car is in good shape.  The engine appears to be a 1600 from the late sixties and has a manual transmission.  There are a lot of ivory knobs and such.  It is 12 volts and has a couple or huge resisters installed to running the existing 6 volt radio and auxiliary heater.  Both appear to be factory installed maybe for a very cold climate.  Both are disconnected and it is unknown if they can be made to work.  The car had already been converted to 12 Volts when I got it.  They  are in their correct place in the car.  There are five wheels for the car and I have four extra original solid 5 lug wheels that go with the car too.  That's 5 + 4 + 9 wheels.  These wheels are correct for the period and will need to be powder coated.  This car runs and stops nicely and also has a rare locking steering wheel ignition lock.  It is by far my favorite and has been my daily driver and is a blast to drive.
  • 1961 VW beetle            $500

    My Munched VW!

The 63 above was my second classic bug.  This 1961 VW was my first.  A tree almost killed me and destroyed this little bug.  It was fun to drive and had a peppy engine all of which is still intact.  The body was munched but it actually still starts and will move around the yard.  I don't know if there is such as thing as buying a 'body' for it and trying to fix it up but this could be the project for the right person.  Maybe you?  Give me a call and lets talk.  This bug has a 1971 engine and tranny.  Lots of aftermarket stuff but because it was crushed my loss is your gain.  The value is only in the engine and transmission.  Phone me at 360-793-7581
